My Favorite drowsy Day

It seemed like it would last forever

This beautiful breeze

It would touch my bared face and knees

I wouldn’t leave, never

I couldn’t be torn from the rain

As it danced at my windows

The time that the grooms would marry the widows

They would never experience pain

I would walk and walk

And the town would talk and talk

I could hear the kids screaming at tricks

Running around in their costumes

hopi...

Brown

A dancing, free breeze

Escaped from the wind.

A leaf found pinned

Against autumn's orange glow,

Yearning to fly to and fro.

A young boy grinned.

The cool air thinned.

The beauty began to grow.

A brown winter coat

Covered in fallen leaves.

Brown like the color

Of his eyes’ deep seas—

The blanket the earth wears

As summer finally grieves.

Slowly But Not So Surely

It is simple in theory

To refrain from immorality

Renew my mentality

Yet practically weary

I deflect by query

Practicing comfortability

Seeking a technicality

What are you doing Harry?

The battle has been won,

By pain, by suffering, by love.

Yet you demand the strife

Remember what’s been done,

Let Him descend like a dove,

And put on this New Life...

Confession

I keep my secret to my chest,

Not because I feel shame,

Although I do change my name.

I just think it’s for the best.

A mechanism of defense,

In case I fail when I try,

Only I will know the why,

Rid of any pretense.

This is why I write as Carrow,

Creations hidden like a sin,

This is why I do not flout,

Like an archer without an arrow.

This is why I keep it in,

Like an author full of doubt....

Autumn

Crisp fall air,

Hot apple cider,

Trail horse rider,

People who care,...

Ms. Madge

I miss her

With every waking breath

And every little death

She’ll remind me I can’t locate a conifer

Then probably call me a jovial slur

She’ll want to ramble about the Black Death

And call me a fool for forgetting Macbeth

These are the daily affections I incur

I wish to kiss

That beautiful miss

And hold her all night

Every caress floors me

How lucky can I be

That incredulous nerd is Just. ...

Ow

The leaves have changed again

The cold seeps under my nails

The summer boomerangs back, fails

Fall will fall, winter always wins

Tilt back your head

drink my sin

Tell me where to go, drop a pin

Rely on me, I’ll keep you fed

I will use you, you will use me

inhaling orange and reds

I can barely breathe

Shake me down until my body burns bare

I know this means I’m about to die

but I don’t c...

The Highlights

Working to make a living

Leaving you in the past

Every time I leave this town

It’s like a breath of fresh air

The only downside is you

Living a movie

Where you aren’t a part of the highlight reel

Live vicariously theough me

May not be enough

I wish it want like this

I wish I could do better

I wish you could see the things I’ve seen

Experience the world as me

I wish I could see the world through ...

All Hallows' Eve Dancing

Leaves falling fast

Summer's gone, we must dash

Bring your friends and hide your stash

Set a'drift and hoist your mast

Winter's nigh, the fire's cast

Snow is falling in a flash

Teeth of wolves begin to gnash

Halloween's begun at last

Fairies, globlins gather near

Its time to fill these woods with fear

Twisting, whisling, dancing rain

Thunder fills the woods with pain

Witches, its time to cast ...
