Water dripping down

warmth enveloping me

Puddles at my feet

oozing over my skin

Its my own personal drug

Cancels out the world

just long enough

for me to catch my breath

eases my aches pains and sorrow

The steam rises off of the tea in the cup.

Almost like a medicine, the warmth and mild flavor heals me

All of the chaos, all of the stress, slowed down.

Come. Take a sip, let it calm you. Take a breath and let your heart stop pounding.
