Writings

Sleeping Elephant (Nature Lover)

The trees whispered my name

Come

The birds sang my praises

Come

The leaves cheered me on

Come

The ground woke up to my steps

Come

They said, “this is your homecoming.”

They said, “this is where you belong.”

The wind whispered my name

Come

The rain showered me with its drops

Come

The Outpouring of love was generous

They told me life sprung eternal

They told me from death came birth

Whispers On The Wind

Sometimes I think that

Someone is calling

Out for me to come

But alas, it’s just

Whispers on the wind...

Too Late Now

The field is empty

No care remains

With only the sound of wind

Carriying the whispers of names

They try to exaggerate the so called crime

Of failing to meet their standards

Disregardding my lack of time

The ball on the grass shifts terribly slow

Legs lack energy, motivation is low.

Yet they chose to blame the ones who are new

And avoid taking the responsibility or blame

For which them, is long o...

Memento Mori; Memento Vivere

Whether it listen or not, I talk to the wind,

It’s trustworthy nature being one of glory

No knowledge of my name, nor my tongue,

Just knowing of the troubles in my story.

The wind takes a weight of your chest,

It puts one’s state entirely to ease,

Facing a direction no one will see,

Looking in a direction that the troubles of life become whispers in the wind.

No two whispers are the same,

My Sister Sasha

The deep of my stomach

Burns again when I swallow,

What else am I to do

But drag myself, the wind to follow

My sickness, I realise

In a moment of bliss,

It’s her I know that I hate

And you I remember that I miss

I’m waiting on you everyday

Listening eagerly to hear

Your jagged voice catching on the breeze,

Passing faintly by my ear

Oh Sasha, i’m begging you, please

Let a signal flitter throug...

Whispers On The Wind

The wind moves through the trees,

carrying voices that no one remembers.

They drift across fields,

curling around corners of old houses,

where the past still lingers in the dust.

Somewhere, someone once cried here.

Somewhere else, they laughed until breathless.

The wind gathers it all—

regret, hope, wonder—

and scatters it like leaves.

You can’t hold it,

can’t follow where it goes,

but sometimes...

Whispers On The Wind

Little secrets hidden in hills

Little white mice brings out strange pills

The flowers are dying

The mushrooms are blue

I don’t remember the world in this view

The wilderness thrives in the afternoon

Stark white crows against blush orange hues

I look for some else amidst these fields

Not just living but with an intellect too

The world seems so obscure

Perhaps I can’t grasp it all just yet

Whispers on the Wind

It’s been a year since you left,

Not by either of our choice.

A victim of happenstance,

Wrong place - wrong time.

A year of feeling half a whole,

A void inside,

No longer growing,

But eternal.

Where are you now…

A new life to start?

Waiting for us somewhere?

Or simply nowhere?

She asked what happens when you die,

She’s only three.

I tried to keep it physical - no breathing, no talking, no movin...

Whispers in the Wind

The silent rustle in the air

The breath of trust floating still

Awaiting the day for all to see

The beauty of the silent wind

Whispers in the wind

To whisper secrets in our ears

We are all on the mend

Waiting to overcome our fears...
