Samantha Evans

Samantha Evans

I’m here to write poems | I’m 14 | I’m okay now I just write about the past a lot and also about some dark things that never happened too | if you follow me I follow you back | have a nice day, sleep well, have a nice tomorrow, and so on and so forth

Didn’t

Samantha Evans

1 min read

Feeling known

In my own home

Was something I didn’t

Know was normal

But now I do

And I’m telling you

In case you didn’t

Because I think

This is something

To the round table

That I didn’t

Know was real...

Now That I Have Her

Samantha Evans

1 min read

I know that she’s out there

I miss her, I need her

But she’s just out of reach

So close and still so far

And now I have her

Right here in

My arms and

I don’t know

What to do

Now that

I have

Her...

Did I?

Samantha Evans

1 min read

Did I cross a line?

Did I make you mad?

Did I do something bad?

Did I cross a line?

Did I make us late?

Did I make a mistake?

I’m sorry

I promise

Won’t happen

Again and

I’ll never

Ever do

It again

Just please

Tell me

What I

Did wrong

It’s not

Clear and

I’m scared...

Denial

Samantha Evans

You know the monsters

Have already gotten in

There’s no escape

No way to win

But you need to feel like

The monsters haven’t won

So you keep the door shut tightly

Lest the monsters come...

Now It’s Just One

Samantha Evans

1 min read

People sit beneath my shade

So many, always, every day

That’s how it was, way back when

But now it’s just one, a boy called Ben

While all his peers stay inside

Doing whatever it is they do

With me is just the one kid

Who still does what his parent’s did...

Sands Fall Away

Samantha Evans

1 min read

It is most certainly odd to say

But I think it’s important

That you know what happens today

There is nothing I want more

No greater wish of mine

Than to have the time to explore

But the sands fall away

Slowly but surely it falls

For it could be no other way

It’s true, I’ve come to find

That where there is light

There’s a shadow close behind...

Come Down To The Willow

Samantha Evans

1 min read

Beneath the willow

You will find

A flower thats truly

One of a kind

So come with me

And we’ll explore

If it goes well

We’ll find something more

The flower will bring

Happiness and health

Erase misery and illness

And grant you much wealth

I know you don’t believe

But I ask you to listen

And come down to the willow

When the dewdrops glisten...

Awakening

Samantha Evans

1 min read

You open my eyes

And I finally see

The beast is awakening

And it’s coming for me

I know that I could run

And that I really should

But despite all the warnings

I walk into the woods

I opened her eyes

And now she can see

The beast is awakening

And it’s coming for she

I thought this would help

And she’d know to run far

But she’s looking at the beast

Like it’s her guiding star

I open my eyes

And b...

My Daughter Is The Devil

Samantha Evans

1 min read

And that’s when I realize

There’s no coming back

I’ve seen it with my own eyes

What a brutal attack

Once I am alone

I dial, keeping quiet

If she saw the phone

I know she’d riot

“What’s your emergency?”

This is my girl, so I hesitate

Can I really do this to young Marie?

I take a breath, and rhen I state

“My daughter’s the devil, I finally see

Please come quick, don’t delay

She’s not the angel I ...

Above, Below, Home

Samantha Evans

1 min read

Our girl’s gone missing

However shall we find her?

What must we all do?

I’ll search from above

A bird’s eye view on the world

Looking for our girl

You’ll search from below

Listen around, just in case

Someone else finds her

Bear will wait at home

So if she finds her way back

She won’t be alone...
