Winter Reprieve

Gnarled fingers point low

Frigid wind berates the Sun

Balefule is its dirge

Misty and melancholy

Giving way as Spring draws near...

Start Anew

A new beginning

A clean slate, a brand new day

Who are you and I?

We can decide together

The path is moving forwards...

A Butter Tanka

New to me, this is

Never have I felt like this

Melting like butter

Held too long in your fingers

Never will I be the same...

New Relationships

no extremes no feels

i fear rejection from you.

you’re under my skin

your endless love brings me joy

all the feelings i am calm

(Slovensko)

vse ravno mi je

strah, da me zavrneš, a

Ĺľe si pod koĹľo

sreÄŤa in vznemirjenje

vse ÄŤutim in sem mirna...

New Or Before

Is this feeling new

Cuz it feels just like before

But that one was through

Is this something even more

Or will this be like before...

Strangers

When we have a kiss,

does it mean you’ll stay with me

when I start crying?

Or will you never notice

and go away with your friends?

When we have a hug,

will I hold on desperately?

Or will it just be

with no meaning because we

are still just strangers dating....

first light

your name on my tongue

a stone I’m not used to yet,

warm from the river.

we sit in the quiet dark,

learning each other’s silence....

New Friends

Glasses and earrings

All curly hair and smiles

Sushi and coffee

Sitting in good company

Laughter fills silence aloud...

The Game For My Heart

Trust is quite funny,

Do I hand over my heart,

When you might beak it?

Maybe you’re a good person,

But in the past I was wrong,

Break it,

Heal it,

Play it,

Nurture it.

So Many decisions,

Which one will you pick?

A random lottery,

50/50,

Though considering how this world has turned to something of a mockery,

More like 25/75, but it’s ok, you find me pretty,

So back to 50/50

Break it,

Heal it...

Coffee Warmth

steam curls on your mug

we match our smiles between sips

easy morning chat—

when your gaze holds mine too long

warmth spreads beyond the coffee...
