The Truth

the swirling mists of blood anger and loneliness eddied around

passing every corner you turn to, when you think you’ve lost it

it finds you again

and again

Rounding the corner to only be confronted by the

 same

phantom

walking down halls to see nothing but blank mist

faces once seemed there and smiling

Now all but a blank cloud of nothingness

shouts and voices once near

ever drifting like ...

The Revelation

What was once hidden becomes an opened field. What was once confusion now flows into understanding.

A connection between the eyes, the heart, and the mind.

A unity of revelation, not one out of line, bringing clarity within.

Where truth gained a whole new meaning.

The mystery was a finished episode.

The tv could now be turned off.

What seemed so out of reach, seemed so simple nearing the fi...

The Revelation

I wonder if I would change if I knew

Maybe change the view

Maybe forget that spring

But maybe do not a thing

I wouldn’t care if it was just a fling

Because you made me new

Yes, that’s right, I wouldn’t change

Although this pain I feel is strange

When I was with you, I flew....

The Revelation

The revelation came

In full force

That I no longer was the same

I was not the same girl who once was me

Through my own hurdles

Through the passage of time

In which I remained blind

I got blown up with all that blew me

Sucked me in and consumed my mind

And with the wind

While I braced for it to pass

With the wind I was gone...

The Revelation

In the stillness of a solitary night,

Beneath the cold and distant light,

I saw your face, once dear and bright,

And understood the truth.

Your laughter, echoing in the air,

Once filled with joy, now hollow, bare,

I reached for you, but you weren't there,

A ghost of love, a faded flare.

No thunder, no earth-shattering roar,

Just a soft whisper, a silent door,

That creaked open to reveal,

You nev...

Revelation

Burdened.

Burdened with the weight of your worries

Burdened with the way your mood flurries

Burdened with the weight of your schemes

Burdened by the weight of my own dreams

Yet here i sit,

All dressed up in a nice outfit

Fully prepared for meeting you again

Was i fully sure when?

Knees to my chest as i question my being,

Am i fully seeing?

This girl before me was not the one i knew,

Tears ru...

Stories

Here we are, after so long

Everything laid bare, it feels so wrong

Just when I thought things would be right

I can’t stop dreaming about that night

About the thunder crashing down

The laughs, the glances, the silent town

The rain landing on my new dress

Our shoes soaked, your hair a mess

We followed the streetlights back home

Where the puddles live and the cats roam

You said the moon looked ju...

The Revelation

It was love at first sight

Or so I thought

It should’ve activated fight or flight

I didn’t do what I ought

With her blood on my hands

Thinking I was the only one

But I can easily see where you stand

And you had just as much fun

Sure I’m not entirely innocent

And I shouldn’t have played the game

But you also put in your two cents

You and I are guilty just the same

I wish I saw it sooner

As ...

The Revelation

To understand the situation.

One must first find the foundation.

Once you’re passed the anticipation.

You’ll find a deep frustration.

Followed soon by condemnation.

But then begins the reorganization,

of a lifetime of contemplation.

Only then will you find the Revelation....

The Revelation

“Appearances matter, in the end”

Waves of light kiss water and softly bend

Your keys sunk deep, your grasping hand, and then —

What was seen was senseless, the world is just pretend...
