Ghost

The revelation that washed over me once you choose her over me, your daughter. You choose a woman over your two kids and it hurt for years ands I did my best to still have a relationship with you but it didn’t matter you were gone before I was even born. I bet you still say I’m your “baby girl” “your only daughter”. I bet you still tell people that I choose this that I didn’t want you in my life. ...

The Revelation

The city's clamor, a bruise on the soul,

But deep in the green, a balm starts to flow.

Each towering tree, a silent, wise elder,

Whispering secrets, dispelling all welter.

Sun-dappled paths, a weaver's soft thread,

Mending the worries that tangle the head.

The rustling leaves, a choir, hushed and low,

Singing of peace where all shadows go.

Rooted embrace, a mother's firm hold,

The Revelation

I know now

I know how

This haunting revelation

Showed in a wonderful presentation

Dark turned to light

Day turned to night

You’ve earned my applause

For your impressive façade

Smiles and cheers

Anger and tears

Although it did hurt

Being treated like dirt

I’ve raised my mast

And sailed right on past...

Ticking Of Time

Ticking off time as the life turns like wine

The age is known and the time runs steady

A constant race as a try to replace the lost time

No second chances this clock has no rewind

But overtime you begin to ponder

Is the ticking so bad?

Why must it be sad?

Goodness comes everyday

Yet the constant stress of the sand falling

The constant ticking of time

Do you look out into the world with fear

The Revelation

Is about to begin.

No one is from sin.

You will either be left behind.

Or you burn in the abyss.

Or you shine with the stars.

The revelation is about to begin.

No time to be saved.

We are all about to end....

As It Returns

The mist returned it clouds over

Remember when feelings were smothered

But people’s mockery changes time

Changes love and changes understanding

All the mist comes from something

So petty yet so powerful

Engraves upon you your tongue can’t move

Hands shake and mind feels heavy

Rather then running you sit and wait

Wait for it to slide into shadows

Yet as you wait your mind becomes hollow...

My Damn Goodbye

You can have your damn goodbye,

I won’t run after you,

You’ve done the damage irreparably.

Yet you have nobody to blame but the victim

I am that victim who gave you everything,

Deciding to take advantage, but after I left empowered?

I say my damn goodbye stoically,

But after you found out about her?

You decided to harm, harm us one by one, well…

You now started a war, with people who are my a...

The Revelation

Blurred through the lines of devestation

just another one of life’s lessons

Never looking in the mirror at their own reflection some people only see through their own prospective...
