My Heart Around You

Oh my heart and how it beats when I come close to you.

It pulls this way, then tugs another, never a path I know.

It skips around, all full of glee and buzzing like a bee.

For any look and any touch that trulys comes of you, causes quite a speed.

I want you close, to hold you near, and make sure that you really can hear....

door to door

hearts tend to intertwine they build connection and communication. they have no mind to talk no mind to walk yet they have all the physical qualities needed.

your heart goes door to door aka heart to heart knocking on every individual one

some open, some slam the door shut once it’s known who’s knocking, some never open at all.

some hearts even get broken in to, no knock, no warning, just there.

Drought In A Barren Heart

Loneliness seeps through the broken land

Where only rigid beats and blood will stand

Love, water, they are always the same

Gone through a drought after little rain came

Now the barren wastelands; the artery of friends

Awaits impatiently for its end...

Off Functioning

I feel the friction

My heart has prickles all over it

The friction ,the texture.

My heart isn’t slippery

Or smooth in any way.

A beat per second

. Feels like eternity

Malfunctioning.

Blood circuits , cutting off.

Veins sting and die off

Shrivel up

Where does that 2,000 gallons of blood go?

My body barely moves or even keeps me warm.

My pericardium =thinly layered fluid sac that lets ...

Heart

My heart beating

Trying to keep up with my racing thoughts

Twisting, constricting

With every word that you say

That ruins my say

It feels like it will explode

As I climb the stairs

Or eat to fast

But its a heart

Faulty, but it works....

Keyring

Many believe

Each heart has a key

Perhaps that may be for some.

The case though, is not for I.

My heart has many doors down a long corridor

Each which has its own key.

Many people have keys that unlock such doors.

Each person has a different set of keys.

A keyring each with a collection of keys to use.

One day maybe, I’ll find the one person who will collect all of the keys on

A single ring....

Slowing Down

Bump bump, bump bump,

It’s still pumping.

Bump, bump… Bump, bump…

Or it may not be…

Bump… Bump.. Bump…

Uh oh, it may…

Bump………

*HEART MONITOR STOPS*...

I Can’t Give You My Heart.

If it tore,

My life would tear too,

If it broke,

There would be nothing left to do,

It’s a drum set,

Life banging a musical tempo,

Steady or spiked,

Depending on mood flow,

My heart can ache,

But it’s not a good sign,

It can ooze with anguish,

But it’s not too divine,

Moves blue to my veins,

And sweeps out trash, waste,

Vital to my life,

My inner body embraces,

I can’t give you my heart,

Anatomy Of A Heart

We live in a time

where we’ve been taught

that the heart pumps

blood through chambers

a valve is like a door of which

you could step through to

get to the next room.

Up, down, side to side,

that’s how many visualize

the cardiac function.

We live in a time

where we’ve also learned

that the cardiac muscle

coils around itself,

and the blood flows

counterclockwise through

a dynamic vorte...

The Heart

The power house of life

It never stops working

Pumping life into your mind

It never gives up

Pumping life into your body

If left alone to die

It’ll take all your dreams with it

It pumps these thoughts into your mind

That you never want to forget

It wonders where you’ve gone

But it never gives up

It’s your biggest strength

Yet it’s your biggest weakness

Can end your life in a beat

Or keep you ali...
