Bounty

"Why did you kill her!?" Jane screamed her voice cracked,

"Because she was hunting what you needed." Kaylee someberly looked down at the girl lying on the floor, now pale.

"Of course she was! I was literally working with her! We were going to share the money we earned from the bounty!"

"The bounty on MY head! I trusted you, but now I can see what happened."

"And what is that?"

"You're too eas...

The Queen Pt.2

"Why did you kill her!?"

"Because she was hunting what you needed."

"She was also proving useful in getting into the castle again,' Vyxen sighed. at least her sidekick was trying to be useful, though not succeeding. She didn't seem to know how to strategize or lie smoothly. That needed to be changed. They would work on that eventually, they had to, otherwise Vyxen's plan for revenge would fail ...

Draft

Why did you kill her?

Because she was hunting what you needed?

I don’t understand.

I thought you had succeeded.

But now you are telling me.

You killed a women.

In cold blood.

Because she was hunting for her coven?...

Out the shadows, into the fire.

"Why did you kill her!?" I ask knowingly, but still my ears ring.

"Because she was hunting what you needed." He responds, very matter of factly.

Bang, Bang, Bang - those were the fireworks, he’d since holstered his gun, in some ways it’s great we have cover for the noise, but no matter how you look at it - we just killed our contact.

“So that’s what we’re doing now, shooting our own conta...

I Though You Hated Me.

(Vampires? Potentially, if that’s what you would like to consider this, I’m not even sure, tbh I was just writing to write…per usual. LOL, spooky season = maybe spooky writing. :) But enjoy!)

Story:

Kacey’s eyes were wide, staring at Sev who stood before her.

“Why did you kill her?!” Kacey asked, more in disbelief than scared, and Sev just smiled slightly.

“Because…she was hunting what you nee...

The Diamond

“Why did you kill her!?” I cried. “Because she was hunting what you needed,” my friend replied in a casual tone. “You killed her over a diamond!” I exclaimed. “A diamond that holds your lives in its hands,” he corrected. “Still…” I was trying to put up an argument, but I was running out of reasons. *sigh* I sighed. “I guess you’re correct.” “Mmhmm,” he nodded. We continued rambling over the rough ...

Bloodmoon (The Shocker)

"Why did you kill her?!"

"Because she was hunting what you needed." He opened his palm. There was the pendant.

My mouth hung wide, and I gasped, though I eventually led myself to smile. My two teeth shown too.

"Pointy," he noticed while removing his hands from her abdomen. They were red like wine. I blushed at his strength.

Maybe my thoughts about him had changed. Maybe there w...

The False Love

As I walked through the door of my studio apartment, my heart dropped and the blood in my veins froze with the realization that I had forgotten our anniversary washed over me. Elizabeth hadn’t even reminded me. Why didn’t she remind me? The table was set with the good silverware and the finest Dollar Tree china, a new tablecloth spread neatly beneath it. The smell of her famous pot roast filled th...

Avoidance

“Why did you kill her!?”

“Because she was hunting what you needed.”

“No. You don’t do that for me— don’t go pretending this is more than what it is.”

A sly smile tugs at his lips. “An alliance?”

Asshole. “Yes.”

He leans in closer, more than I should’ve allowed, “Is that all this is?”

It’s barely a whisper, “Yes.”

“I don’t believe you.”

“Believe what?” He doesn’t move and neither do I....

Kill It

Cats play only one game: kill it. I’m not knocking them. If anything I envy their singular focus. Kittens pretend to eviserate their siblings with these adorable belly kicks. Mommy cats will bring live prey to their young for practice. Daddy cats are fluffy family annihilators. Lining up my scope on the tabby’s forehead, I sank my arrow deep. Eva let out a wail.

“Why did you kill her?”

“Because...
