My Reason To Stay

_(This is about my best friend. It might not seem like it, but this is 100% platonic. I just care about and appreciate her so deeply. Please feel free to comment any advice! Hope you have a great day!)_

She is

Beautiful.

Her laughter

Makes me smile

And laugh along.

Her brown hair

Curls and frames

Her face.

Her blue eye

Are like the ocean,

Blue and sparkling.

She is kind

And cares.

Where I find Beauty

Most people find beauty in the light

They find it in the sun

In feilds of flowers

In the face of one

Most people find beauty in the natural

In the flora and fauna

In the way the wind blows

They find it in the visible

Most people find beauty on the surface

What people show

What gets told

They find it where they can see

Most people find beauty in normalcy

In straight lines

And perfect pictures ...

Eyes

Eyes

Fluttering open

Every morning

To welcome you

Into reality

Eyes

Every color

Beautiful

Strands of color

To gaze upon

Eyes

Whoever you are

Every eye

Sees the same

Eyes

To view the world

To see pain

And love

And peace

Eyes

First sight in the morning

And last sight in the evening

Eyes

Our view

Our perspective

Of the world...

Sunsets

Beauty is relative

Based on preference

However I think we can agree

Sunsets hold great beauty

Pink and gold

So many hues

Strun across the sky

Somtimes romantic

Other times sad and lonely

Either way gorgeous

Every person sees them different

Yet we’re all seeing the same thing

Connecting us all

Under on color filled sky...

Beautiful Memories

Memories,

Pleasant memories,

Reach your mind,

But may be forgotten,

May be wrong,

May just be tricks,

Tricks your mind plays,

Just so you can feel something beautiful....

Life Filled With Coins

Coins

Flip the coin

See where it lands

The clanking noise

I can’t stand

Heads tails

It’s all the same

I’m just tired

Of playing this game

Heads tails

It won’t define me

I’m just tired

Of constantly trying

One or the other

My life or my death

I live to suffer

Gambling my breath

Shut up I know

How much you care

But I can’t hear it

In suffocating air

My coins they fall

Out of my mouth

I feel so...

…those people…

Those people

How do they do it?

Live like no one’s watching

Like the world is safe and kind

Other people are

**Always**

Watching

So how do they do those things?

How are they so friendly,

Helpful

Cheerful

Sweet

When no doubt, something in their life

Is going horribly wrong?

How do they not snap?

Break under the pressure of society?

How do they strive through persecutors?

How do they **live**,...

Air

The air we breathe

Cannot be seen

Until it’s winter air.

With cold that bites

You like a knife

You exhale and it’s there.

It drifts away

And then it fades

Without ever a trace.

But once it was

What filled your lungs

From which you spoke today....

The Beauty Of Music ļæ¼

A melody drifts, a gentle wave,

Carrying the soul to a tranquil enclave,

Where notes dance and leap in joyous flight,

And harmonies embrace in the soft moonlight.

In this realm, the heart finds its voice,

A symphony of feelings, a poignant choice,

To soar on a crescendo, to weep in a song,

Music, the language where all can belong.

It whispers of love with a tender caress,

It screams of anguish i...

Something Less Than Friends

You know that was a lie.

I lied when I said ā€œNot directed at anyone!ā€ In a different poem.

Because I wrote that poem thinking about you.

I know you don’t like liars.

But what can I do?

When I don’t want you knowing how much you make me smile.

How my friends see my smile because I’m always thinking about you.

How I just wish I was online 25/7 even when I’m looking at your life file.
