Butterflies

*TW: SH (Self harm)*

Once, twice

I was yelled at for being dumb

Three, four

Butterflies drawn

Five, six

Aspects of me judged by them

Seven, eight

More butterflies to add on

Nine

Yells more drawing on myself

Ten butterflies

On my clean arm

Then rivers of re...

Count the pills

Once, twice

One goes down

Than another

Ten to take

And when there gone

Ten more for luck

Laying in bed

As they take effect

Tomorrow fading

Today my last...

You came to me from the heavens high,

A calling, message, a butterfly,

Telling me to embrace what hasn’t died.

Now you claim you’re my luck charm,

That I’m awry from all harm,

Divine and me have locked arms.

Seen as evil but not

A spawn that needs to rot,

For in balance, you trot.

First Day

On the first day I saw you

Your eyes shined bright blue

Whenever I look at the sky

I always see you

On the second day we met

I heard your voice for the first time

Like a melody from heaven

I knew you were mine

On the third day we touched

Your shoulder against mine

It felt like an explosion

Like I drank too much wine

On the fourth day you waved

From across the room to me

It felt like you blew ...
