I love that doctors don’t listen

That they push me off

say its normal teenage hormones

But i shouldn’t be screaming in pain

should not be stuck in bed

And definitely should not be almost blacking out

I love it when people say

they have it worse

when all it is is different

because me having blood drawn

With a fainting condition

Is actually really hard

I love when people say

its ok its just pain

it will go away

But i can barely walk

and wince with every step

for days after i overdo it

its after moments like these

that i realize

I was never supposed to make it out alive
