Most people find beauty in the light

They find it in the sun

In feilds of flowers

In the face of one

Most people find beauty in the natural

In the flora and fauna

In the way the wind blows

They find it in the visible

Most people find beauty on the surface

What people show

What gets told

They find it where they can see

Most people find beauty in normalcy

In straight lines

And perfect pictures

In whats percieved as the truth

I am not most people

Though I appreciate the beauty of those things

I find beauty in my own form

In all the shades of me

I find beauty in the shadows

Where light cannot reach

Where the hurt hide out

Their darkness a leech

I find beauty in the difference

In the one out of place

In the askew out of order

In the shamless life without borders

I find beauty in the broken

In cracked mirrors

In dusty window Sills

I find it in the severed dreams of people

Whoes dreams they never did meet

I find beauty in the supernatural

In the stories we tell

in what we wish was a truth

I find it in the cracks of life

I find beauty in the abnormal

In the people pushed aside

In what makeup fails to hide

In what fails to be a lie

I find beauty in the dark

Where most people shine light

I welcome those who are scared

Of the people who seem not to care

I find beauty where it needs to be found

In Those who need to feel my warmth

But are scared of the light
