STORY STARTER

Blind.
I was quiet, but I was not blind,
Held it together, thought I lost my mind,
I have seen it all, yet still stand tall,
Remaining quiet.
I look alright, but I die inside,
Stay afloat but drown in the high tide,
Suffocating, my tears not baiting,
Yet I still stay silent.
I have no wounds, but I feel the stings,
What I’ve seen, the aftershocks it brings,
My lips tremble, I remain gentle,
But what lies beneath the tranquility,
Is the tremble of my scattered brain—
I’m surprised that I can remain tame,
I mask surprise while quietude lies,
With what my tongue and expression could say.
(Idk)
