POEM STARTER

“Clouds cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes,

but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies'

Use this stanza as either part of, or inspiration for a poem.

Lies

Clouds cover the skies,

Rain pulls at your eyes,

But nothing hurts as much

As little words turned lies.

Sitting here now,

Lips turning down,

You won’t listen,

And all I can do is frown.

And oh you laugh,

At All this sway you have,

In the end,

I’m left as half.

The clouds move over the skies,

And you spin your lies,

Thinking they’re in disguise,

But I know.

Oh I know, my love,

You think you’re so above,

But when it comes to push,

I’ll shove.

So spin the fake words you like to call truths,

Thinking you’re so smooth,

As I cry,

Because we both know you ruined my youth.
