The sun has risen yet again,

Another day to be seized.

Another day to reach for my goals.

Another day that will pass.

Birds are chirping by my window,

Gossiping about what they see.

“Look at that girl, she will never be win”.

They know it’s true, and so do I.

Why do I sleep in when I could move towards the future.

Another day to be seized,

But I lose my hours,

Sleeping in too late.

The sun is far above the horizon,

And yet I still have not awakened.
