Sunshine

One wish. That's all I had left with the genie.

I never thought I'd wish for this.

Well- some part of me did.

I slowly swallow, and close my trembling hands while sputtering out my next words very carefully.

"I wish for sunshine." I slowly smile as a wet tear falls down my cheek, slightly burning sensitive skin.

The genie looks intensly at me with a confused tilted head.

"Sunshine?" He say...

One more time

The genie seemed impatient, as if he had somewhere to be except inside that lamp of his. I had one wish left. I had already wished for unending riches, an unaging body, what else could I possibly want?

โ€œYou have one wish left, and remember you cannot wish for unlimited wishes.?โ€

What was one to do in this precarious situation? I could wish for powers beyond human comprehension. I could wish to ...

One wish. Thatโ€™s all I had left with the genie. I never thought Iโ€™d wish for this.

They all showed themselves to me again for a split second as my wish was gran...

Curse Of The Genie

7:00 am and Benjaminโ€™s phone vibrated. Rolling over, he stretched into his warm flannels. As Benjamin opened his eyes, he turned. A six foot eight inch violet hued figure loomed at Benjaminโ€™s bedside.

โ€œGood morning Master and waddya say? How are we this fine sunshiny day?โ€

Benjamin groaned flinging his forearm over his eyes.

โ€œIt wasnโ€™t a dream. Goddamn!โ€ Benjamin howled.

Last One

I stared s at the shimmering form of the genie, his presence a swirl of azure and gold, filling the cramped space of my living room with an otherworldly glow. He hovered above the tarnished old lamp, which I had discovered hidden in the attic of my family's old house, among boxes of forgotten memories. His eyes sparkled with anticipation and a hint of mischief, aware of the gravity held within my ...

Whispers of Love

In a quiet chamber, lamp aglow,

I faced a genie, my heart aflutter, so.

With one wish left, my spirit sighed,

For dreams and hopes I couldn't hide.

A wish, a longing, deep within,

To mend a heart, where love had been.

I never thought I'd wish for this,

To mend a love I sorely miss.

The genie's eyes, a mystic gleam,

He asked, "What's in your secret dream?"
