Fall Breeze

Falling leaves off branches of trees,

Another fall season has begun,

Loving embrace of the

Last season before snow.

Blowing winds

Rush through my hair,

Easy, calm winds,

Excited, fast winds,

Zooming by,

End of the year is nigh....

Spring

Sun starts to come out

Pouring in the window sills

Rain starts to come

In the sweet months

Nature starts to rebirth

Greet the nice weather...

Sweet Spring.

Sunshine blooms and visits longer,

Winter slush cowers in its presence,

Every inhale contains pollen and petals,

Every glance is vibrant with reviving life,

Times haven’t been so graceful. _(except for in fall too)_

Sunshine awakens the asleep in the land,

Pressuring them to frolic once more,

Ravishing butterflies float, flutter,

In April, nature showers its garden,

Natural rebirth floods to gre...

Vampire Summer

Sometimes it is too hot

Unreasonably hot

Most like the heat

My body doesn’t

Even the slightest ray scorches me

Remember your sunscreen...

Winters Dread ļæ¼

Winds houl, threatening to blow me down,

Ice grips my heart, I still hear your laughter sound.

Nothing can warm the chill that creeps into my soul,

Tears fall relentlessly, in sync with the snow.

Eternal dread of Christmas for all my days,

Remembering the snowy day God took you from this placeļæ¼...

An Extraordinary Acrostic

Exciting voyages aboard

xebec, with its sharp lateens,

travels the salt seas.

Rapacious corsair’s keel

across a world of plunder.

Ocean’s opportunity calls

riding waves, rowing calms.

Danger braved

in storms and squalls,

nightime’s peaceful starlight

air warm and steady abaft

rolling gently on the swell

yawing to the rudder’s pull....

Autumn

Around us all are angels

Under the Heavens we walk

Turn to Him and listen

Unto all just talk

Many will rejoice

Nothing can stop His love.

Spring forth in new life

Perfect through His blood

Ready there to meet us all

In His arms we rest

Now and forever

God will love us all....

College Bound

Summers of orange and pink

Until the time you can drink

Next to the school where we swallowed our peace

Seeing the night that’s coming ahead

Everyone’s not sure what to expect

Trying to salvage what may disappear

So we’re staying up here, not going to bed...

Summer

Swaying trees moved by the breeze and

Ultraviolet rays that burn my face

Melting ice cream and dripping backs

Making merry in the beach down south

Eating out with blankets underneath and

Reaching the tips of mountain peaks...
