After The Rain

If silence had a scent, it would smell like the morning after rain,

When the world exhales, perfectly content,

life returns, breaking every chain

It would smell like tears that break and flee,

Friendly actions holding the key,

Where kindness flows and set us free...

Salty Tears

If silence had a scent, it would smell like a freshly washed hoodie and salty tears.

It is in the silence, in my solitude, where I finally let the walls down.

It is where I finally let myself feel the emotions.

Tears will streak down my face, and yet I don’t make a sound, because I can’t let anybody know I feel this way.

I pull the hoodie over myself, as a blanket, and a cover.

Pressing in.

The pause between

The drip and the drop.

Cold, damp, and coppery

Filling the room

The sick feeling

That grows and grows

The more your alone

Poisonous to all

Making you numb

Until your gone...

Chocolate Silence

Silence

The thing we alll long for

But what of its taste

Silence is chocolate

Chocolate is ever changing

Bitter chocolate for

Bitter silence

Or are they both sweet

For when we’re peaceful

And at heart...

This

Our love,

Our intimacy.

The tender silence,

All of the above.

I love you baby 🖤...

Quietness.

If silence had a scent, it would smell like a foggy, tuesday morning,

When the damp, spooky clouds leave the skies to greet people,

Embracing you, blurring your vision,

Their moisture filling your nostrils.

If silence had a scent, it would smell like if mother nature had cried just the night before,

Her tears remaining on the plants as dew,

Making the scent of the earth more prominent,

All while ...
