POEM STARTER
Write 'a gram of &s' poem about any topic you like.
Each line of a 'gram of &s' ends in a word that can be spelt from the title of the poem. The title must be a single word. This may be tricky, but will encourage you to choose words carefully!
Abandonment
You left me.
It might not be what was meant,
But you left a huge dent.
You entered my abode,
With your cruel, reckless abandon,
Took love til there was none.
You drove me mad,
Breaking things I couldn’t mend,
Yet another wound to tend.
But like a lone drum major, leading a band,
Watch me create something neat.
Watch as I find my own beat.
Watch as I carry on.
