In The Dark Of The Night
_(This will not be a poem. Before I get started, I just want to thank you for reading this. Please leave any advice you have in the comments so I can improve. Hope y’all have a good day. Happy pride too!)_
Btw: this is hurt/comfort and found family for everyone who likes these tropes.
***TW: Bullying, swearing, suicidal thoughts (only swearing in this first part)***
_You might be wondering, what do I, a sleep deprived teenager who questions his life choices daily, know about staying anonymous? Well, you see, I’m not who you think I am, not entirely. _
“Why? Why am I narrating my own life in my head? I’m not an actor playing a undercover spy nor a famous star? What the fuck is wrong with me?” I sigh to myself as I patrol my route for the night. Suddenly, I hear a scream. The scream is to high to be an adult, a kid was screaming. I take a moment to see if I can A) hear anymore screams (to make sure a kid wasn’t just screaming because they didn’t get ice cream or whatever kids like), B) locate where exactly the screaming came from or C) both. In the end, I managed to do C) aka both.
I began running towards the location I assumed the kid would be. As I ran, I saw the kid—are they a kid or a teen? That doesn’t matter right now—being picked up. The adult covered the kid’s mouth, muffling their cries.
“What the hell do you think you are doing?”
“Huh? Oh! I’m just trying to get my little brat home. Trust me, if I were to kidnap a kid, it wouldn’t be this ass,” one of the adults said.
_Wow, yeah because you sir, are calmly handling your child in such way I would believe this child is cared for and loved. Also, why would you mention kidnapping when I didn’t even mention it? That just makes you sound even more suspicious. _
“Oh, okay! Do you think a toy would calm him down? I was going to sell it, but if he would like it I could give it to him, if you’re okay with it of course!” I asked smiling politely.
“Oh, uh, sure,” the other adult spoke and grabbed the teddy bear.
_Did they actually just accept that? They are so stupid! They just accept gifts from strangers? Idiots! At least it works in my favor!_
I pulled up the tracker app on my phone and waited for them to stop moving.
**_Do y’all want a part 2? *I’m too lazy to finish this rn and I’m being begged (by my butterfly) to post*_**
