POEM STARTER
Use the 'snowball technique' to write a poem, where the first line is one word long, the second line has two words, and so on.
Remember you do not have to 'build' on the first word - each line should use different words.
Right…right?
You.
Why you?
You did this?
But why dear friend?
Did you mean to send,
Those words to me that day?
Did you mean to stab my heart?
I’m sure you didn’t really truly mean it,
That it was all just a joke with me,
That I didn’t get right, yes that’s it, that’s it.
No, you couldn’t have mean those words that hurt me so badly.
It was all a mistake, yes that’s it, that’s the real truth.
Because you never were actually out to hurt me at all, right?
Right…?
Cmon…right?
Then why lie?
Why pretend it’s fine?
You convinced me it’s normal,
When now I know it’s not.
But why did you feel the need?
And why me?
