POEM STARTER
Mysteries of the Night
Whether something natural and beautiful like the stars, or something more sinister, write a poem that focuses on things that are most prominent at night.
Little does she know
Little does she know
I’m crying behind the screen
Its nearly midnight
Why can’t I just fall asleep
Little does she know
The pain I feel
When she says goodnight
And ends our conversation
She is my only friend
And I am trying so hard
To not push to much
Or other things as such
Little does she know
I wish I could add her pain to mine
Because she is family
So it will be fine
Little does she know
I’m crying behind the screen
Writing Crappy poetry
and wanting to scream
But in all honesty
I wish more than one tear rolled down my cheek
A good cry sounds nice
I don’t wanna think twice
I want to cry
To where I am gasping for air
And yelling theough broken choked sobs
Because a cry sounds nice
Lottle does she know
How lonely I am
For she is my only friend
And she is family too
Its a mystery of the night
Of why I want to cry
And why my list of friends is shy
I don’t know how to end this
Other than goodnight
