I was let go today

Not fired exactly

Because no one is to fault

Enrollment issues the cause

At a dance studio i have been working

And it all crashed down

Slowly I was starting to heal

From my trauma surrounding dance

But now that opportunity is gone

Finally I was making some money

So i could do things with my friends

Get the things I wanted

It may not have been much

But it was real and it was mine

And it was a job

Now its gone

Slipped through my fingers

And I am frustrated

Not at a person

Just at how it played out

One thing good and then everything bad

I should be able to pick up babysitting

Or at a least a little bit

But for now I am stuck wallowing in self pity

Sad about unemployment

And writing poetry

Over something but most will find boring
