Write a poem about the power of tears.
I used to cry every day
Either quietly
Or loudly
Somewhere in between
Because it was a release for my emotions
I hated my life
I hated myself
I hated my situation
I hated almost everything
Now I can add the ‘ed’ to those words
I no longer hate any of that
Its gotten better
I love my life along with myself
Everything’s better now
It does get better

Wow, this is so well written! Crying helps a lot lol, but I’m so happy that you can say those days are mostly in past tense now! Great write!!! 🩷

The summer I turned pretty Is prob my fav rn
My fav writing of mine is I think called “See you tomorrow” or something like that. It’s my only short story on here. I love writing short stories a lil bit more than poetry but never find the time lol.
i love this!! and i’m so proud of you! i’m so glad it got better. i can definitely relate to this, crying helps me feel better after any day🫶🏼 and i was the exact same way too. i couldn’t find anything i liked about myself, and now i have so many things! this is an amazing piece :)
