POEM STARTER
Write a sonnet about something you learned recently.
Don’t worry about nailing iambic pentameter here – instead, try to meet the Shakespearean rhyme scheme ABABCDCDEFEFGG.
Life
Life is worth living.
Each day bring new opportunity.
The world is always giving,
The nature in unity.
The food that it provides is for fuel,
Not punishment.
Eating shouldnt be a duel,
Between my head and my heart, always persistant.
The sunrise calls me to live another day,
No more will I waste my time.
Keeping the old feeling at bay,
As I make my little rhymes.
I am not ready to succumb to it all,
And you will watch me as I grow tall.
