POEM STARTER

Write a poem about a time that you forgot something.

It could be an important event, a mundane appointment, or a personal belonging. Whatever it is, try to tap into the emotions you feel when you realise you've forgotten something.

How To Cry(Tw)

Sitting in my room

So unhappy

Unable to cry

I’ve forgotten how

I remember it

Crying over little things

When I was a kid

Now it’s a tear at best

And never for myself

Even why I cut

Or can eat a thing

I’m just empty

It’s easier for now

But I want to brake down

To get help

If only I knew how

(Someone once told me that crying was a sign of healing. It’s ok to cry and let out your emotions. Being able to cry about somthing is the first step.)
