The Weight Of Words
A simple note,
Syllables strung together,
Letters linked,
But I cry anyway.
Coming from you,
It warms my heart,
Timeless timing,
Words that won’t die.
I hold it to my heart,
And press it to my pulse,
Feeling the words,
More then just reading.
I’ll press it in a place,
Only I can find,
And replay the response,
I miss you.
“I 100% think of you as a sister”
And my heart breaks,
Before melting back together,
I miss you.
You remembered,
that I love eyes,
And you gave me more,
Then you had too.
And for the first time,
In what feels like an eternity,
I could feel,
The weight of words.
