WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a fast-paced scene that takes place during a rush hour.
There doesn't need to be a dramatic plot, but think about how you can create and maintain a busy and rushed feeling in a short story.
Busy
āBusyā isnāt the right way to describe it.
āBusyā means you have little free time,
You move from one thing to the next without time to catch your breath.
āBusyā is not what I am.
But āoverwhelmedā isnāt right either.
āOverwhelmedā means you canāt get it all done,
Canāt find the right rhythm.
And Iām making it work.
So I guess Iām just busy.
I guess the thirty minutes on the bus being my only free time is okay.
I guess Iāve learned how to not breathe,
Because itās one thing to the next from 6:30am
To 8pm when I finally get home
To 10pm when I finally finish my homework
To 11pm when Iāve finally gotten ready for the next day
And finally showered and passed out before my head finally hits my pillow.
ā¦How am I going to survive thisā¦?
Guyssss help I started school againā¦
Anyway I wanted to say Iām SO sorry I havenāt been able to read/write at all, the bus is the only time I have to do what I want but I keep being half asleep and not being able to actually do anything other than stare out the window. But Iām going to try to catch up today and stay caught up during the week. Idk I have to figure out some kind of way to stay online. Iāll make it work though, there is no way Iām going to let school take away one of my favorite things ever!!
Anywayyyy Iām going to catch up from oldest to newest, but if thereās anything yāall want me to jump to I definitely will (Chapter Fourrrrr iykyk).
Idk Iām not used to writing notes like this. How have you beennnn?
