POEM STARTER

Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.

You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.

Lullaby

Keraunos

Why don’t you like me?

Blood stains on my white tee.

Your words mean nothing.

Baby, I’m not for touching.

Yuh, so bite me.

Fists balled up.

So fight me.

What’d you say now?

Scared of a girl, how?

Standing five foot two.

Billions, but I chose you.

Twenty in the clip.

Make a body flip.

Won’t hear the lip.

Pocketing, I’m not a card.

Talons out, let’s go hard.

Heads rocking, honey no.

I know you like me- say so.

I woke up, chose violence.

Let me hear your silence.

Your collar on tight.

With the killer in sight.

I knew it the moment I saw you.

There’s nothing I’d rather do.

You’re a good meal.

Feel this feel?

If I blow I make it pop.

There’s not enough top.

Why don’t you like me?

Blood stains on my white tee.

What’s that now?

Scared of a girl, how?

I said you’re a good meal.

It’s a big deal.

Little britches,

Tiny stitches.

They say, “Missy prissy.”

Now don’t be so sissy.

Got my head on right,

Got you strapped tight.

My pinky is blue,

You have no clue.

Why don’t you like me?

Blood stains on my white tee.

**Yes, I’m your Queen.**

**Kiss this thang.**

**Bow down, bae.**

**Now he’s moaning,**

**His head is rolling.**

**Friends are trolling.**

**I know you like me,**

**So honey say so.**
