In this society,

We are the lesser.

Always supposed to be there reliably,

For your convenience.

It may seem like we changed,

But we still have whispers of old ways.

If we speak up we’re deranged,

Not worthy of words.

But I will not be lesser,

In this world of fools.

No, I will not be your jester.

I will rise above.

I will not be pushed down,

I will not back off,

I will not be received with a frown,

Because I have power.

To survive in this world,

We must prove ourselves over and over again,

To even be seen as somewhat enough.

And guess what?

If that’s the case,

I will prove my self over

I will write my story,

I won’t let my hope break

I’ll reach the glory,

For a better society for my future daughter.

No matter how much you tear me down,
