Stuck In Time

Tick tock.

Hands moving but I’m staying still.

Quarter past the hour, a quarter through my life.

Only its not.

I’m halfway.

Maybe more.

Nobody knows when their batteries will run out.

Take their last tick.

Make their last tock.

Wind it back.

You can try but it just catches up again.

Tick.

Health scare.

Tock.

Exercise.

The cycle continues until it doesn’t.

Until it’s too late.

Tick…...

Call me

Tick goes the clock

We’ve been talking since five o’clock

My hand twirls my curls

Like your voice, they are soft

Tick goes my watch

My phone still a-buzz

It’s my wingman

It makes time a construct

Tick goes your phone

It doesn’t ship us

We have so little time

Maybe that’s the cause

Tick goes my mother

She’s standing in the door

She says you’re bad influence

We can’t call anymore...

Bleeding.

I’m bleeding.

I’m bleeding all the time.

Everyday,

Every night,

Even all day.

I hate myself.

Throw me away.

Treat me like a ruined toy.

I’m already numb enough.

I climb out of the void then fall back in.

I don’t know how to be okay.

I miss being young.

I miss the old days.

I miss laughing all the time.

I miss being happy.

I wish I was happy again.

But I don’t know if that ever gonna be happening ...

Tock Tock…

Tick tock

On the clock

Im tired counting down

The sound of tick tock

Lay one bed

Beep beep

Tock tock

Beep beep

I see my ghost in the air

Or my body on the floor

With the sound of tick tock

Going over and over

(Hope this is good, im tired from track)...

Slow

Time ticks by slowly

Creeping on at a snails pace

Not picking up speed...

The Clock Ticks On

I swear I’m trying

Trying to stay strong

But the clock ticks on

And I’ve still got nothing

Nothing to show

And I’m dying

Dying to know

But the clock ticks on

And I still know nothing

Nothing at all

So tell me

Is it just me

Or are you in the same boat

Always moving

But staying in the same place?

Cause I swear I’m trying

Trying to stay strong

But the clock ticks on

It ticks on

And I’ve still got ...

Time Tricks

**Time likes to trick you**

**Into believing it is the same**

**That it is kind**

**Time lies**

**While time can help with the pain**

**It never truly goes away**

**You may start to heal**

**People may not see your pain **

**But if they care**

**They see the scars plain as day **

**Time heals the most basic of wounds **

out of time

I’m looking into the future

WAIT

YOU’RE GOING TOO FAST

the days feel like minutes

and hours feel like seconds

I was a teenager seconds ago

now i’m an adult

rushing through life hoping to get it right

**tic tock**

I’ve made bad decisions

no time to go back and fix them

Time.

I hate time.

The ticking of clocks, serving only to remind me that _my_ time is limited.

I'm indecisive.

How can one make a decision knowing that every move may be their last?

Tick, Tock.

When my time is nearing its end, who's to say I won't regret everything?

Fulfillment.

How can I be sure that I'm making the right choice?

Love.

I..—

I don't know what that is.

Tick. Tock.

Time doesn'...

Time is Ticking Down

_Tick. _

_Tick. _

_Tick. _

You hear the time tick down

Its sand a silken gown

Sand’s hands are wrapped around

Your ever-thinking crown

_Tick. _

The sound infests your mind

_Tick. _

A never-ending sign

_Tick. _

That one day you will die

_Tick. _

And your life will be mine

_Tick. _

It’s growing faster still

_Tick. _

_Tick. _

As time does drink its fill
