Can You Hear Me?

Born the little sibling to a needy sister,

She’s a bossy britches so I’m a mute mister,

Tongue tied up tightly like it’s playing twister,

Can you hear me?

Going through school as the quiet achiever,

First girlfriend’s mean but I’m too shy to leave her,

Call up my crush then hang up the receiver,

Can you hear me?

Start my job which becomes my career,

Loyal like dog to firm year after year,

Work w...

Can You Hear Me?

Can you hear me?

As cry out your name

Can you hear me?

As my screams echo in vain

Can you hear me?

As my voice trembles in pain

Can you me?

As you ignorantly walk away...

Can You Hear Me?

Every word that escapes my lips

Seems to be silenced by the wall in your mind

My thoughts seem to be pushed back by your important agenda

Can you even hear me?

I beg you to stop

To quit pushing as hard as you do

But your goals have other ideas for my future

Can you even hear me?

My wishes are just imaginary

Compared to your big dreams that have replaced them

I don’t think you really know me any...

Can you hear me?

The wind blowing in my ears

I’ve learned at a young age no one cares

They can’t hear me

And they never will

But as I’m pouring my heart out

Into a song that I never thought about

He looks into my eyes

And it made me wonder

Can you hear me?

I hope you can

Because as much as I don’t admit it

I need someone...

Can You Hear Me?

Hello?

Can you hear me, my love?

Or are you too high above?

Can you see my struggling?

The disturbance in the ground?

Or are you too busy playing around?

Hello?

Can you hear me, my love?

Or am I too far down?

Too deep for you to see?

Or maybe you’re just ignoring me?

Hello?

Can you help set me free?

Grab a shovel and dig

Help me return to me

Hello?

Are you the one who trapped me down here?...

Can You Hear Me?

Can you hear me?

When I call out for you

When my voice is drowned out

And there’s only few

Only a few left

In this town

Because when the fire came

It burned our love and life down

Would you call me?

If I asked you to pick up

And you were all alone

And life could end as quick as a hiccup

Another fire could come

As savage as the past

But my mind is gone

Now that I know we can’t last

Or would it ...

Can You Hear Me?

I’m trapped, encircled by walls

Walls that I built to keep the world out

Out of my hair, so I’m away from danger

Danger both physical and mental

Mental like my words that no one can hear

Hear me please, I’m trying my best

Best isn’t good enough, I’m not enough

Enough for this world of perfection

Perfection that is flawed, blinded by outward beauty

Beauty I don’t have, I am nothing

Nothing to...

Shadows of Humanity

The summer sun glints through the windows

the smell of yellow fills my lungs

we sit under the shadowed patterns on green

inbetween the blue and the white.

We stare at the light yellow

you lied about.

Can you hear me?

Can you hear me?

I’ve been here before

the smell of children fills my lungs

The light yellow is blinding.

So pale in this light

it’s white.

An infitity room of words.

Can You Hear Me?

can you

hear me

whoever you

are

hear each

word i’ve

made

tediously

each prayer

for love

that haven’t

been answered

because i

keep watching

the couples

on the streets

and send a

word to

whoever

you are

asking for

love

but i don’t

think

you can

hear

me

yet

because nobody

loves me

and i love

nobody

so ill ask again

can you

hear

me?...
