All my life, I have been always the nice person

Being the type of person helping others

Giving good advice to friends and family

Always being there for a person in need

But I have unfortunately encountered mean people in my whole life

And as I continue in this journey of life, I will unfortunately encounter mean people

Bullies and corporate executives and greeds

Sadness or loss of hope ...

Who is this person am I looking at?

Is this my sibling or a stranger that I’m truly looking at?

The furrowed eyebrows

Being inconsiderate of others

Yelling at people including your own family just to prove a point to yourself that we’re the problem

When it’s never about you taking accountability for your actions and projecting your own insecurities onto people just to have a weak mentalit...

Who are we truly?

When no one is watching…are we the dreamers or the sleepers?

Are we the people that stay up at night with the peace and quiet with no sound or anything out there?

Or are we the dreamers the ones we go into our minds and dream of an alternate universe or an reality?

So again I really ask those who have reached this part of the poem…we are we truly without the world watching u...

Can you hear me?

Can you hear me cry?

Can you hear me sobbing into my pillow at night?

No you can’t…you can’t hear me sob because I don’t want you to be.

I don’t want no pity or sympathy from anyone.

Don’t hear me sob or cry because I don’t need you to be.

So no, you can’t hear me....

Backwards we go back to the past

Disappointed aren’t we?

All those years wasted on what?

Happiness?

False promises?

What did we really do and accomplish?

So maybe it’s faith that we go backwards in order to be better or worse

Maybe worse but we have faced the worse and come out of it alive

Backwards we go but faith always wins in the end...
