All my life, I have been always the nice person

Being the type of person helping others

Giving good advice to friends and family

Always being there for a person in need

But I have unfortunately encountered mean people in my whole life

And as I continue in this journey of life, I will unfortunately encounter mean people

Bullies and corporate executives and greeds

Sadness or loss of hope

I bite the hand that feeds me, so maybe it’ll let me starve.

Am I going to let hopelessness take over?

NO!

I will make it in this world
