POEM STARTER
Submitted by Karman
Write a poem about the protagonist getting something off of their chest.
Who Are You Really?
Who is this person am I looking at?
Is this my sibling or a stranger that I’m truly looking at?
The furrowed eyebrows
Being inconsiderate of others
Yelling at people including your own family just to prove a point to yourself that we’re the problem
When it’s never about you taking accountability for your actions and projecting your own insecurities onto people just to have a weak mentality
You aren’t the same person who I clearly had grown up in the Bronx nor in the family
You aren’t just a sibling who I used to be close with anymore
You clearly lack respect towards me so I don’t feel the need to give that respect anymore to you
You have said things that our grandfather would be ashamed of to me and everyone in this family
You are a stranger in this family so that’s who you are really
You’re dead to me mentally and emotionally
I no longer consider you as my sibling anymore nor you don’t consider me so the feeling is quite mutual
Thanks for the no contact Jade ☺️
