POEM STARTER
Submitted by XOXO, Z A I N 🩵
“Clouds cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes,
but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies'
Use this stanza as either part of, or inspiration for a poem.
Little Clouds
Seesaw rocking, people talking
Boys playing marbles, knees knocking.
Little Joe grabbing sweet. Who does watch?
Mommy looking at her small swatch.
Joe looking down at his small toes
As mom ask “did you take?” She knows.
He squirms and denies but she is wise.
It hurts a bit the fibs, the lies.
