“How is your novel unique”?,

Well, it’s my own world,

My own way of words,

Written on a page,

My hard work,

Flourishing through my body,

Sticking from my fingers,

To my pen,

To my keyboard.

It’s what Ive pieced together,

For months on end,

The puzzle lost in my mind,

Gravitating closer,

When thoughts turn to magnets,

That want to paint a picture.

It’s romantic,

It’s tragic,

It’s poetic,

It’s what’s cooked in my heart for a year,

It’s pretty like nothing else,

It’s a species never seen before.

It’s unique,

Because it’s my first,

My hardest work,

My most thought of piece,

That I will remember forever,

And I hope others will too.

(This was written so I could hype myself up to work on my book 😭
