STORY STARTER

You accidentally create a potion when attempting to make a hangover cure.

Bromance

_(Idk wth I just wrote, I was bored. Hope you have a great day!)_

“Okay, so, umm, I think nutmeg would be a good addition to this!” I say as sprinkle several herbs amd spices into the pot.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Angelo stumbled into the kitchen squinting his eyes.

“Trying to make some hangover cure for your dumbass who doesn’t know when to stop drinking,” I turned the stove of and turned to Angelo.

“Thanks I guess,” he said while chugging a glass of water.

“Here, try it, I need to see if it works,” I poured a glass of my concoction and shoved it in his face.

“Did you poison it?!?” Angelo gasped.

“No, why the hell would I poison it?” I looked at him questioningly.

“I don’t know! Why wouldn’t you?” Angelo snapped back.

“Omg, look I’ll take a sip!” I took a spoonful of gulped it down.

“Okay…” he gulped down his glass.

“Angelo…” I said quickly.

“Yes?” he blushed slightly.

“I think… I think I’m in love with you…” I said looking into Angelo’s eyes as if he himself had hung the stars in the night sky.

“I love you too…” Angelo says as he leans in for a kiss. “Wait. Do you want a kiss?”

“I think this should answer that,” I say. Then I pull him close and kiss him on the lips.

“So, what are we? Dating, complicated, just friends?” He asked blushing.

“I mean, I’d like to date. if that’s okay with you of course!” My heart pounded in my chest.

“I’d like that,” Angelo hugged me and whispered, “I love you,” in my ear.

**A few months later-**

I decided to run tests on the potion I made, but the outcome was strange. I originally thought it was a love potion after me and Angelo had had it the first time, but it had different results each time so it couldn’t be a love potion.

“Wait… could it be…?” I said as I looked at an old cookbook.

The cookbook had a very similar recipe (minus the nutmeg and cinnamon). The thing was that—

“Hi love!” Angelo kissed me on the cheek as he set down his work bag.

“Hello!” I smiled at him.

“Whatcha doing?” He asked peering over my shoulder.

“Trying to find out what my potion does, because it clearly didn’t cure hangovers,” I said while rereading the cookbook over and over.

“Isn’t this recipe very similar to yours?” Angelo said pointing at the one I was reading. “It says it’s a… **_truth potion_**!”
