So I try and dress prettier.

Act funnier.

Change my personality.

But it’s never enough.

And then I see him everywhere.

Out on dates.

Out in public.

And it makes me angry.

So I don’t give him any attention.

I think that will definitely make him notice me.

But he doesn’t.

He still ignores me.

So I try and be louder around him.

I glance at him every now and then.

Still nothing.

So I go home and pick myself apart.

Maybe it was my hairstyle?

Was I wearing too much jewelry?

Am I not skinny enough?

Maybe it’s because I don’t look like most girls.

Maybe I’m not his type.

Maybe I should become his type.

Maybe I should change everything about me.
