Okay, okay. He wants to kill me. 5 minutes to convince him not to. Oh god! I’m not a good convincer! Why me?????

“Clocks ticking.” He says inspecting his knife.

“Ummm, I’ll tell your mother!” I blurt out.

“Well, 1. You have no way of contacting her, 2 You have no idea who she is and 3 she’s dead.”

Top 10 of the stupidest things I’ve said.

“I’ll date ya?”

“I’m not into brunettes. Or girls.”

“I’ll get my brother to date you! He’s blonde!”

“I’m not into people.”

“Like,” I take a breath. “Like animals?” I whisper.

He chuckles. “No, I’m not a weirdo.” He slashes the knife against the wall.

“I’m you are a psychopath.”

“That doesn’t mean I date animals.”

Think Chloe, think. Maybe, no. Ugh! I’m gonna be killed!

“What if I help you murder people?”

“I was planning to make you my last murder.” He points the knife toward me.

Okay. That won’t work.

“What if I pay you?”

“I’ve got enough money.”

“Are you going to disagree with everything I say?”

“Maybe. Just till you come up with something good.”

Ughh, I’m going to die.

I slump to the floor.

“What are you doing?”

“Throwing a tantrum.” I smirk up at him.

“A wh-“

“I DON’T WANNA DIE!” I roll on the floor. “PLEASE!” I grab his feet and he backs away.

“Stop doing that.”

“I DONT WANT TO DIE!” I let out a blood curdling scream.

He drops the knife and covers his ears.

“Okay! Okay! I won’t kill you!” He backs away and opens the door. “Leave!”

I stop screaming and rolling on the floor. I get out and flatten my dress downing fixing my hair while I’m at it.

“Why,” I smile walking toward the knife. “Thank you!” I pick up the knife and walk out.

Leaving I’m terrified.
