POEM STARTER

Use the 'snowball technique' to write a poem, where the first line is one word long, the second line has two words, and so on.

Remember you do not have to 'build' on the first word - each line should use different words.

Hello

I know

It’s been awhile

Did you miss me

Or forget that I exist

I know you don’t really care

But I remember your smile and eyes

And how i used to sing to you

But It is very different now I know that

I’ve grown up but you stay stuck in the past

You are my past, I know that is dark and hard

But I watch you every day, see you grow up and change

Little me, never forget I am here when you are ready to remember
