Somehow still alive but am I the same?

I guess I’m the only one I have to blame

Imploding dreams of music and fame

It is for the best I stop playing this game

My feet will always walk

I’ve half learned when to talk

Words stifled by locks

Even threw out my rocks

Am I a poet

Or a girl with a poem

Maybe I’ll blow it

But one day I’ll show them

I am too forgiving

To live a life of pivoting

From walls that are limiting

Survival is not living

The end is not quite in sight

Until it’s at my door I will fight

I will not stop trying to write

With my love and with my spite.
