She’s harsh, brash, and acting like a man

She think to highly of herself

If a woman doesn’t

She’s a gold digger, lazy

If a woman speak out against injustice

She’s just trying to make herself the center of attention

And if a woman points out harassment

She’s just trying to shame a man, fix a grudge

A woman is a mother sister, grandmother

A wife, a friend, an employee, a boss

And yet all society sees her

Is as some worthless pawn

You move her to get to the bigger picture

And in turn, she looses control over her own life

She is cut, and soon strings are attached to her

As soon as she misbehaves

The puppeteer moves her to his whim

Society paying her a nickel

Just to watch her suffer

Because though she isolates multiple roles as once

She can never seem to be on stage

Always an extra

Never allowed her words on the storybook page

And just wishes to scream “I DONT FUCKING WANT TO BE SAVED!”

But she has no control

After all isn’t she a pawn

She’s societies property

And never her own
