I’m not the person to sit around and cry,

Without a cloth of revenge to wipe my tears,

I’m not the one to wilt away and die,

Without someone to drag down with a sneer,

The gears work in my head,

Thinking of how to return the dread,

A hunger that will soon be fed,

When you feel the wrath you passed to me.

When I want to rebel, my mind loves to think

Of an attack so glaring yet so subtle,

For a moment, kindness is drained in the sink,

And I am numb to the potential trouble.

A petty secret I will never tell,

Until you witness it and go to hell,

retaliation is all I will sell,

My payback, a secret rebellion.

Sorry for not posting, I’ve been busy working on my book and I’m still seeing family so 😭

But also, I’m approaching my 200th writing (and my 200 day streak, I’m at 196 rn), and I’m going to make a compilation of my favorite poems I made and post it to wattpad so if you’re interested for that stay tuned (I’d post it on Werdsmith but that app sucks, and i might bookmark those writings on here if it’s requested)
