POEM STARTER
Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.
You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.
Monsters In The Night
Sleep my child now
You are safe and sound
The mist creeps ever near
But your mother will appear
To protect you from
The monster that will come
In the night so still
In the wind so chill
Till the sun arise
The monster then shall die
Burned by gleaming light
The end of all the blight
