I drank and drank and drank. I can not be conscience when he comes back.

I swayed and slurred my words but it was worth it.

And then I spotted him.

Shawn Ray.

I stumbled over to him.

Stupid.

“Hi Ssshawn!” I smiled and patted his back.

Geez.

“Why hello there!” He put his cup at the nearest table. “Do you have a better answer?” He leaned down. His breath reeked but he looked sober.

“Yeah! I wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings and knocked into you!” I accidentally stepped forward. “I always do that!”

“Well,” his smile widened . “I like that answer much better”

“Good! Cause it’s the only one I got!” Without thinking I grabbed his cup and finished it for him.

“Wow! That’s strong!” I dropped the cup to the floor. “How are you not drunk?”

“I guess I’m immune.”

Here we go!

“Oh my brother is immune to getting sick!”

“Really?”

“Yeap! Causes he’s dead!”

He straighted his back. “Really?”

“Yeap! Died of lung cancer last year!”

Trauma dump much?

Then again without thinking I yanked him down by his shirt and kissed him.
