Cold water feels warm when you’re freezing.

The chill has already settled into my bones,

To the point where I can’t feel it.

It’s a part of who I am now.

Shadows seems bright in the void.

It’s filled my soul, my head, my heart.

I don’t notice anymore.

The void is my home.

Jabs seem friendly compared to the usual punches.

I’ve been battered and beat,

But it’s ok, it’s fine.

Nothing out of the norm.

All this is my new normal.
