Write a poem or story around the theme of 'Lonely Together.'
You And I
You sit under the shade of a near by tree
I sit under the clouds soaked in rain
You lean against the trunk
I look up into the darkness above
You never leave the shade
I never leave the cold
You never smile
I never laugh
. . . Three months pass . . .
You meet my eyes
I hold your gaze
You give me a gentle smile
I wave softly back
You don’t move from the tree
I don’t escape from the tears
We just sit
Looking at each other every few moments
Sharing smiles
Sharing pain
We are lonely _together_
Aaahhhh this was so good! Seriously, this was incredible. You’re such a talented writer, oh my gosh. Every time I read one of your poems or writings, I’m absolutely shocked by how beautiful it is.
