I wish I had never let go

But the thought of it’s presence suffocated me almost as much as enduring it’s absence

However, to be fair, we all take light for granted until we are trapped in the depths of darkness with no escape

Maybe there is a lesson to learn, but I am too blinded by the vacancy to see beyond the tragedy at hand

So what now? How do I move forward in a world of poor judgement and loss?

Simple.

Just look forward and hope that all that was lost returns to me unscathed because it always belonged to me. It just needed to find it’s way home.
