WRITING OBSTACLE

Sanctuary. Elevate. Conscious.

In a story of no more than 10 lines, use these three words in any order. Try not to randomly throw them in, but think about a storyline that allows you to link them all naturally.

You Won’t Get Me

You pride yourself in your ability to play mind games, but you’ve still yet to elevate your senses, and I still wear my carefully crafted disguise.

Of course I’m aware that any unplanned action I take will lead you right to me, but you aren’t smart enough yet.

Nothing I’ve done has yet to allude you to me.

I’ll always make the conscious decision to hide my tracks, aside from the body I always leave behind for you to find, but sometimes I can’t resist giving you clues to see just how stupid you are.

You’ve yet to come close to catching me.

You know my weapon, my marks, and my methods, but you’ve yet to learn my desires.

You might get closer, but I’ll just take another step farther away from you.

As you ponder in your supposed safe place pondering upon my next victim, I’m getting closer to you.

So cower in your sanctuary, but in the end game, I always win.
